Choose SeatPlan.io if…
This is where it is better than Find Your Table.
- You still have to build the seating plan. Its designer is free with no signup, and you drag tables and guests into place. Find Your Table has no editor.
- You have your venue's floor plan as a photo or PDF. Its AI import builds an editable layout for you to review, on every plan.
- You are a planner or venue laying out the same rooms for each booking. Event & Venue Manager saves a venue template to clone for each event, and clients can view or edit by link without logging in, while you lock the tables you want fixed. Find Your Table has a shared workspace for client events, but no layouts to reuse.
- You want printed material made from your plan: an A3 chart, an Excel guest list and place cards. Find Your Table gives you a QR code and signage templates, not a chart or place cards built from your guest list.
- You want to send guests their seat before the day, as an email and a wallet pass that updates itself. Find Your Table sends guests nothing: they see the latest table when they open or refresh the page.
- You want a passcode on the lookup, or a 3D view of the room.
- You want one payment to cover both the design and the lookup, with no guest limit. Collaborate is USD 14 one-time, for 90 days of access. Essential is $49 one-time, with the lookup and event-day tools but no designer.
Choose Find Your Table if…
This is where it is better than SeatPlan.io.
- Your seating is already decided, in a spreadsheet or on paper, and you only need guests to find their table.
- You have up to 50 guests and want the QR lookup live for free. On SeatPlan.io's free plan you can design, but the QR lookup needs Collaborate or Event & Venue Manager.
- You want check-in at the door on a one-time plan, from Essential. On SeatPlan.io's site we found guest check-in on the Event & Venue Manager subscription only.
- Your guests or your planning team work in French or German. The site, the dashboard and the guest page are all available in both. We did not find other languages on SeatPlan.io's site.
- You want a shared gallery for guests' photos and videos as part of a plan, on Plus and Premium, rather than as an add-on.
What both do
Both let a guest find their table from one QR code without installing anything, both let you keep editing after the sign is printed, and both offer a one-time plan as well as a subscription for professionals. Find Your Table does not collect RSVPs. SeatPlan.io's site talks about changing seats as RSVPs come in, but we did not find RSVP collection there. For more products, see the full comparison.
Questions
Is Find Your Table a SeatPlan.io alternative?+
For the guest lookup, yes: both give guests a no-app table search behind one QR code. For building the plan, no: Find Your Table has no floor plan editor, so it does not replace that part of SeatPlan.io.
Which one is cheaper?+
It depends on your guest count and what you need. Up to 50 guests, Find Your Table's QR lookup is free, and SeatPlan.io's needs a paid plan. Above that, SeatPlan.io listed USD 14 one-time for Collaborate on November 5, 2026, with access for 90 days, and Find Your Table charges $49 one-time for Essential. SeatPlan.io sets its currency by region, so compare the two amounts in the currency shown to you.
Does SeatPlan.io's free plan include the QR seat finder?+
No. Its plan table includes the seat finder on Collaborate and Event & Venue Manager. Its site says Collaborate access ends 90 days after purchase and does not say whether the seat finder link keeps working after that, so ask it if your event is further away.
Which is better for planners and venues?+
If you lay out rooms for clients, SeatPlan.io: Event & Venue Manager, listed at USD 40 a month on November 5, 2026, has reusable venue templates, client links and check-in links. If your seating comes from elsewhere and your team only needs guests to find their tables, Find Your Table has a shared workspace for client events, with no layout tools.
Does Find Your Table have a floor plan editor or auto-seating?+
No. You give each guest a table name or number, and from Essential you can upload your own floor plan image for guests to view.
Are the two companies related?+
No. Find Your Table is not affiliated with SeatPlan.io.
